Leadership
Ms. Maya Larson | President
Since joining Colleague in early 2021, Maya has focused her transformative leadership style on every aspect of the business. She believes that by leveraging her passion for developing people and solutions, the business can thrive.
Building on a 25-year career in human capital consulting, Maya brings hands-on expertise in leadership development, training and facilitation, and organizational change management. She has developed and managed workforce and leader development programs for Federal, State, commercial and nonprofit clients.
Prior to joining Colleague, Maya was a Senior Director at ICF, a management consulting firm. She served in a leadership role in their disaster management division, after spending several years leading a workforce strategy and transformation practice. Her most impactful projects include serving as the training manager on both the post-Hurricane Katrina home rebuilding program in Louisiana and the post-Superstorm Sandy disaster recovery program in New Jersey, and leading organizational change management efforts for enterprise-wide IT transformation initiatives. Outside of work, she is passionate about exploring the world, hiking in the woods, and photographing her adventures.
Ms. Michelle Ruble | Director of Business Operations
Michelle is an experienced Director of Business Operations with over 15 years in the government contracting industry as well as a background in Banking. For Colleague Consulting, Ms. Ruble manages the daily business operations, including contracts management, accounting and financial management and forecasting, human resources, and strategic process improvements.

Colleague is a project management-centric company. We are a Project Management Institute® (PMI®) accredited Authorized Training Partner (ATP), and half of our team possesses a PMP® certification.
